The recycled lead extracted by Jiangxi Mingxin from waste lead-acid batteries through crushing and recycling processes has formed a diversified application system. Among this, 65% of the recycled lead is used in the production of new-type lead-carbon batteries, which are widely applied in fields such as automotive starting power supplies and solar energy storage systems, meeting the development needs of the new energy industry. The remaining recycled lead has been extended to other fields, including the manufacturing of radiation shielding materials (accounting for 20%), the production of special alloys (accounting for 10%), and the replication of lead type for cultural heritage restoration. This realizes the full-chain transformation from industrial waste to high-value-added products. As a professional enterprise engaged in the recycling and processing of waste lead-acid batteries, Jiangxi Mingxin's recycled lead products have been integrated into the supply chains of multiple industries such as power batteries, architectural anti-corrosion, and aerospace.
This recycling model brings multiple breakthrough values to the environmental protection industry. In terms of resource conservation, recycling 1 ton of waste lead can save 8 tons of primary lead ore resources, significantly reducing soil heavy metal pollution and vegetation damage caused by mining. In terms of pollution control, through fully automated crushing and sorting technology and oxygen-enriched smelting technology, not only is the collection and recovery rate of lead elements achieved at over 99.5%, but sulfuric acid can also be recovered simultaneously for chemical production, avoiding the risks of lead leakage and acid rain pollution caused by traditional random disposal. Compared with primary lead smelting, this process can reduce the emission of desulfurized gypsum by 100,000 tons per year and save 5,000 tons of standard coal, significantly reducing the full-life-cycle carbon emissions.
This closed-loop economic model promotes the systematic upgrading of the environmental protection industry. Jiangxi Mingxin's recycling practice responds to the national circular economy policy, and the technologies it adopts, such as negative-pressure environmental treatment and blockchain traceability, have set a demonstration standard of "safe recycling - efficient regeneration - clean production" for the industry. Against the industry background that China's lead recovery rate has reached 82%, such recycling and reuse enterprises not only create direct employment opportunities but also reduce reliance on imported lead ore through resource circulation, forming a virtuous cycle of "environmental protection - resource guarantee - economic benefits" and providing a practical sample for the green transformation of industries under the dual carbon goals.
